MEET OUR NEUROSURGEONS

At Neuroaxis, we have three neurosurgeons providing care to our patients suffering from complex brain and spinal conditions. Over the years, each of our neurosurgeons has undergone extensive training and gained a multitude of experience in the field. And the learning never stops, with all three neurosurgeons involved in academic research or training.

Neurosurgeons

Mr. Girish Nair

Mr Girish Nair is a highly trained neurosurgeon with over fourteen years of experience. He has undergone specialised training in spine surgery and movement disorder surgery.
Mr. Alexios Adamides

Mr. Alexios Adamides is an expert in the management of brain, spine and nerve conditions. Mr Adamides completed his medical studies in the United Kingdom in 2000. He then undertook neurosurgical training in Australia and is now part of Neuroaxis. In 2012, he became a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. 
Mr. Hui Lau

Mr Lau grew up in Malaysia before migrating to New Zealand. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Otago in 1996. After which, he worked as a junior doctor and surgical trainee at hospitals in Dunedin and Wellington.
